New Teaching Model of Gem Cutting Design and Processing Technology Course Based on Virtual Simulation Experiment Platform

For the shortcomings of traditional experimental teaching methods of Gem Cutting Design and Processing Technology course, this article combines the advantages of the virtual simulation experiment platform to explore a new teaching model for this course.By simulating the design and processing part of real natural gemstones, establishing the original gemstone specimen database, cutting design database, gem design database, and adding the diversified experimental teaching evaluation, students can experience various problems that may be encountered in gem cutting design.
