Study on Secondary Reducing Fluid-Rock Interaction in Jadeite Jade Bench Deposit in Burma

  • The secondary reducing fluid-rock interaction in the jadeite jade bench deposit in Burma is formed in the strata of jadeite jade gravels with Heiwusha shuck. In the process of the interaction, chlorite alteration is formed along the fractures of jadeite, some of which have been healed. So the colour of jadeite jade is changed to sage green, dim green or greenish blue, and the transparence is enhanced. Genesis of the interaction is related to the geochemical properties of the bench deposits, geographical conditions, long time weathering and groundwater action, fractures in jadeite jade, etc.
