一种蓝色文石的宝石学特征

Gemmological Characteristic of Blue Aragonite

  • 摘要: 近期在广东市场出现了一种蓝色的、外观似针钠钙石的玉石,为查明其矿物组成及颜色成因,采用常规的宝石学测试,结合激光拉曼光谱仪、红外吸收光谱仪、紫外-可见分光光度计、X射线荧光光谱仪等大型仪器,对该玉石样品的宝石学特征做了一系列的研究。研究结果表明:样品的折射率为1.52~1.66(点测),相对密度约为2.69;拉曼光谱显示样品主要成分为文石;红外光谱的分析结果进一步验证了该样品为无机成因的文石;紫外-可见分光光度计和X射线荧光光谱仪的分析结果推断,该样品的蓝色是由Cu2+以类质同象的方式替换了Ca2+所致。

     

    Abstract: Currently, a kind of blue jade appears in Guangdong market,which likes pectolite. The gemmological characteristics of this jade are researched by using conventional gemmological testing methods and Raman spectroscopy, FTIR, UV-Vis absorption spectrometer, X-ray fluorescence spectrometer. The results showed that the RI of the sample is 1.52-1.66 (point measurement), and relative density is 2.69. Raman spectrum showed that the main mineral component of the sample is aragonite, and FTIR analysis results further validated that the sample is inorganic aragonite. The results of UV-Vis absorption spectrometer and X-ray fluorescence spectrometer showed that the colour of the aragonite sample is caused by Cu2+, which replaces Ca2+ in mineral.
