Abstract: Through applying the characteristics of Chinese painting to Chinese style jewelry design, this paper explores the development ideas of Chinese style jewelry design, how to establish national self-confidence in the context of the new era and bring more vitality to the inheritance of national culture. Under the influence of traditional aesthetic thought, Chinese painting has a unique understanding and expression of modeling, colour, personality and aesthetic taste. Apply these characteristics into jewelry design and find a design point that can make the public empathy and resonance is not only a "reinvention" of the traditional culture but also a creative design. Chinese painting has a long history and retains a large number of outstanding works.
