Abstract:
The experiments to prepare glass-ceramic to imitate Huaqing or Baidiqing jadeite jade are carried out by using pasty sintering process and non-uniform mixed sintering process.The samples got in the experiments are analysed by X-ray powder diffraction spectrum and Fourier transform infrared(FTIR) spectrum,and the influence of the different temperatures and times on the structures of the samples are studied under metrological microscope.The results show that the main crystal phase is wollastonite;the best crystallizing temperature and time are respectively 1130℃ and 60 min;and with the increasing of the crystallizing temperatures and time,the quantity of the crystal is increased,the transparency is decreased,and the morphology of the crystal is radiated irregularly;the RI and relative density of the glass-ceramic are affected slightly by adding little of PbO,but the relative density is increased up to 2.93by adding Lu
2O
3,more closing to that of jadeite jade.
