Abstract: Through the thinking of the sources and features of jewellery motif in different areas and stages of ancient jewellery culture, and of the history analysis, we can reveal that jewellery, as a part of art culture, is the social representation. Under the given social conditions, the particular jewellery motif and form will be produced. Understanding this will be very helpful for us to study and grasp the popular motif and form of modern jewellery.
